Banu Kaleağası has 25 years of experience in corporate and commercial law.

Banu is a graduate of Galatasaray High School and Istanbul University’s law school. She studied International Relations at ULB “Université Libre de Bruxelles; International Law at VUB, Leuven.

Banu spent several years in Brussels, working at international law firms. Banu provides legal support in corporate law to major Turkish and international companies operating in Turkey. She also acts in an advisory capacity to various foundations, federations and associations established by private sector entities in addition to providing strategy development support.

Banu specializes in real estate and labour law issues as well as commercial agreements and litigation. Banu has excellent command of English and French.

Onur studied at Istanbul University and was admitted to Istanbul Bar in 2001.

He obtained his LLM degree on private law from Galatasaray University. He is currently pursuing his PhD studies at Istanbul University on the Enforcement of Industrial Property Rights.

Onur served as associate and partner in dispute resolution practices of leading law firms in Turkey for many years. Between 2009-2016, he was the partner of the Istanbul Office of a top tier global law firm.

With a specific emphasis on law of contracts, Onur’s practice mainly focuses on litigation and regulatory, compliance and white-collar crimes, intellectual property, restructuring, debt recovery and banking and finance.

He provided legal assistance to well-known companies operating worldwide, banks and financial institutions. He represented his clients in various complex and cross-border commercial disputes of large amount.

Onur has excellent command of English and French.

Berin was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2000, thus has over 21 years of advocacy experience before the Courts of England and in international arbitration.

After the completion of her Master of Laws at University of London specialising in international dispute resolution, she was instructed in a series of high value and complex investment disputes involving a Central Asian State alongside prominent international law firms and international commercial disputes conducted under ICSID, LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL, LMAA rules, and various regional rules of arbitration.

She has experience in a wide spectrum of industries such as energy, construction, textiles, in Turkey, Central Asian States and the Middle East, representing governments, state-owned entities, corporations and high net worth individuals in disputes.

Berin also sits as an arbitrator and she is certified and admitted as such by Dubai International Arbitration Centre and Energy Disputes Arbitration Centre.

Berin currently practices between Istanbul and London, remains a door tenant at Malins Chambers in London and of counsel of our Office. She is bilingual in Turkish and English.

Graduated from Istanbul University, Dilek had her LLM degree from Bilgi University in the field of business law. She was registered with Istanbul Bar in 2002.

She had extensive experience in telecom sector: At Ernst&Young (Arthur Andersen) in the first years of her professional career, she advised  Türk Telekom A.Ş. in its restructuring project.

She then joined Transtürk Holding as its in-house legal counsel.

Subsequently, she was appointed as the head of Legal and Compliance department of Borusan Telekom. Between 2009-2013 she worked as the Head of Legal and Regulation Department of Superonline.

She acted as a Board member in several telecom associations.

Currently, she advices companies on their Data Projection Compliance Projects.

Armağan acts for almost 8 years as a qualified Turkish lawyer.

Graduated from Marmara University, he was registered with the Istanbul Bar in 2014.

He obtained his LL.M degree on private law from Galatasaray University.

From 2014 to 2020, Armağan worked as associate and gained experience in automotive, construction, administrative, commercial and labor cases. He combined his experience in litigation and corporate.

In 2022 he joined to GTO litigation team and currently leads many of its pivotal cases.

Armağan has excellent command of English and French and he is a certified translator.
